Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/469 of 14 February 2020 is important in the context of AMD provision. Whilst amending Regulation (EU) No 923/2012, Regulation (EU) No 139/2014 and Regulation (EU) 2017/373 as regards requirements for air traffic management/air navigation services, design of airspace structures and data quality, runway safety, it repeals Regulation (EC) No 73/2010, laying down requirements on the quality of aeronautical data and aeronautical information for the Single European Sky. EASA published easy access rules to give further guidance on interpretation of this regulation specially for the providers of Air Traffic Management/Air Navigation Services and other Air Traffic Management network functions - https://www.easa.europa.eu/document-library/easy-access-rules/easy-access-rules-air-traffic-managementair-navigation-services
The repeal of Regulation (EC) No 73/2010, also known as “ADQ”, effective 27/01/2022, is expected to impact the current related EUROCONTROL specifications and guidance materials.
- EUROCONTROL Specification for the Origination of Aeronautical Data Vol 1 & Vol 2 containing specific requirements when originating aeronautical data.
- Transition is on-going from ADQ to 2017/373 Part-AIS rules. EUROCONTROL data origination specification Vol 2 subject to revision.
- EUROCONTROL Specification for Data Assurance Levels containing data quality requirements for the processing of aeronautical data from origination through to publication by the Aeronautical Information Service Provider (AISP) to the next intended user.
- Potentially repealed consequential IR (EU) 2020/469.
- EUROCONTROL Specification for Data Quality Requirements containing data quality requirements for aeronautical data including minimum requirements for accuracy, resolution and integrity.
- To be repealed consequential IR (EU) 2020/469.
- EUROCONTROL Specification for Aeronautical Information Exchange (AIX) enabling the standardized encoding and the distribution in digital format of the aeronautical data that is in the scope of Aeronautical Data Quality. Specifically addresses the aerodrome mapping data set specification and data exchange format requirements in case of provisioning data in AIXM 5.1.
- AMC for ADQ
- AMDB in scope
- To be repealed consequential IR (EU) 2020/469.
- EUROCONTROL Guidelines - Use of AIXM 5.1 in relation to the AIX Specification enabling the standardized encoding and the distribution in digital format of aeronautical data.
- Provision of AMDB content using AIXM 5.1 - scope of this guidance
- AMDB content defined through mapping between ED-99 and AIXM 5.1 (see document listed below)
- To be repealed consequential IR (EU) 2020/469.
- EUROCONTROL Guidelines for ED-99 Airport Mapping Requirements in AIXM 5.1.
- A series of tables mapping the ED-99 information items to classes, attributes and associations in the AIXM 5.1 UML model.
- This information is being replaced by the new EUROCONTROL airport mapping data exchange information, including evolutionary aspects, about the “User requirements for Aerodrome Mapping Information” (ED-99) in relation to the AIXM 5.1 information exchange model.
- The EUROCONTROL airport mapping data exchange information is integrated into the present supportig material on AMD encoding
