Provision of performance data in the submitted eFPL

The aircraft take-off mass, the performance climb and descent profile and the climb and descent speed schedule SHALL be provided in the submitted eFPL. (*)

(*) NOT APPLICABLE to State Flights (incl. military flights) and to Mixed IFR/VFR operations.

Information Exchange Requirements for FF-ICE/R1 UNDER REVIEW

The FF-ICE/R1 Manual, chapter 10.3, recognises that the provision of the performance data items could be done as logical combinations (“aircraft take-off mass with speed schedule” OR “performance profile”). However, the use of all three data items will be highly beneficial in Europe. Therefore, the exchange of the aircraft take-off mass, the performance climb and descent profile and the climb and descent speed schedule is declared mandatory (shall).

State Flights and Mixed IFR/VFR operations are exempted from fulfilling this requirement, considering that they are already exempted from providing trajectory information. Besides the flight performance data, although nice to have, may be sensitive for Military flights.
