Service Definitions

• Decision: It was agreed that the SWIM Service Definition Handbook v1.0 can be moved to the Supporting Material site.

  • As a reminder, it was decided not to have an example based on DONLON. It is better to point to existing service definitions instead.

  • However, the examples are quite complex and rely on AIXM and IWXXM for the most part. It would be good to work on a simplified example and update the handbook once it is available.

  • It would also be good to highlight an example that has a model view e.g. AMAN.

Service Overviews

• Decision: It was agreed that theInformation Service Overview Handbook v1.1 can be moved to the Supporting Material site.

  • Add the PANS-IM applicability date before doing so.

• The first attempt will be to convert the requirements into JSON. This task will be coordinated with SWIM-TEC.

Compliance

• There was a discussion on whether this topic is in the scope of SSCONE-SITCOM. It is a new topic for the group and the IMT has not been informed that we will discuss it.

• This situation should be clarified.

• If it is decided that it is in scope, we will inform IMT to see if it agrees. We may need to make it clear that it is possible to include other experts in our meetings to cover non-technical topics. This may need to be formalised in a terms of reference document.

• If it is decided to keep presentations on compliance as “information only“ we need to highlight this so that the correct experts can be informed.

• The way ahead will be discussed at the next meeting.
