Service Definitions
  • The comments on the draft specification have been received.
    • none of the comments lead to fundamental changes and the body of the requirements will be unaffected.
  • supporting material
    • The supporting material will adopt the same structure and format as the other handbooks. The plan is to upload the material and allow you to comment.
    • needs identified:
      • can already recuperate some of the Service Design Activities work
      • guidance on registration aspects would be appreciated, taking into account the work of the ICAO Information Management Panel
      • guidance on quality of service and quality of data
        • It is proposed to explain the options available to implementers using supporting material e.g. publishing exact figures or schedules of outages etc.
      • templates - these can evolve from Service Definition Template if any changes are needed
  • ICAO Job Card progress
Service Overviews
  • We are still awaiting PANS-IM.
    • The supporting material will be shorter and concentrate on mapping to the relevant service description requirement - service overviews are subsets of service descriptions.
