v1.0.6

Ground Lighting System Management

Introduction

The aerodrome ground light system is critical for safe operations during night and low visibility conditions.

Ground lighting information management is about identification, report process and maintenance of the ground light system at the airport.

AMD applications enable improved Ground Light System Management and enable common situational awareness.

Use of Aerodrome Mapping Data

Ground lighting information management with AMD enables detailed information provision about (individual) lights.

The ATM Information Reference Model (AIRM) defines GroundLightningSystem: http://www.airm.aero/viewer/1.0.0/conceptual-model.html#GroundLightSystem
