SWIM service and network interface binding

A service definition may include for each service interface:

• a reference to a service interface binding as specified in the selected SWIM TI Profile;

• a reference to a network interface binding as specified in the selected SWIM TI Profile; and

• references to additionally supported requirements as specified in the selected SWIM TI Profile.

The service provider should be aware if any service and network interface binding is to be implemented.

Requiring that specific bindings be implemented may be needed for technical reasons or to enforce interoperability between the service provider and the service consumer.

• additional support: The service shall implement SWIM-TIYP-0092 (Denial of Service Protection) and SWIM-TIYP-0098 (Subject Based Routing)

• service interface binding: WS_LIGHT

• network interface binding: The service shall use the network bindings of the SWIM TIYP.

• additional support: The OGC Web Feature Service 2.0 Interface Standard shall be used.
