Artefacts to describe services
|
Service Definitions | - needs
- can already recuperate some of the Service Design Activities work
- guidance on aspects would be appreciated, taking into account the work of the ICAO Information Management Panel
- guidance on quality of service and quality of data
- It is proposed to explain the options available to implementers using supporting material e.g. publishing exact figures or schedules of outages etc.
- templates - these can evolve from Service Definition Template if any changes are needed
- ICAO
- the service definition framework has been broadly accepted
- the next step is to agree the content of an ICAO information service definition.
- obviously we can promote our work.
|
Service Overviews | - We are still awaiting PANS-IM but it should be published soon.
- The supporting material will be shorter and concentrate on mapping to the relevant service description requirement - service overviews are subsets of service descriptions.
- We already have a lot of this written but it is worth a check.
|
Service Descriptions | - Archived v1 of the service description handbook as it should no longer be used.
- SWIM-TEC is considering if we need more on how to a service. Maybe this is something that will impact us e.g. the creation of test suits attached to the specifications.

- How is the quality of data documented at various service lifecycle stages?

Service Harmonisation Resources | |
Service Registry | - ICAO
- registry interoperability team is looking at metadata to describe services. This allows us to present the service metadata schema (and semantics).
|
Service Portfolio | |
Service Developments | |
- Migration to new confluence site still to be done.
The meeting schedule is maintained at SSCONE-SITCOM Meetings.
Next round table planned for 26 June. Back-to-back with SWIM-TEC. Will take place in Brussels. Please raise topics to be discussed.
