Objectives of this meeting are:

Task list

The updated task list is at SSCONE-SITCOM Tasks.

Completed tasks

• Geographical extent

  • Change proposal was reviewed by the JSON schema developers. Updated to allow for more flexibility in units of measure.

  • The change proposal is now in the hands of the Registry CCB and JSON developers

    • Check the timescale for integrating the change.

    • Check the $schema version is correct as "draft-04".

  • You can see the working version of JSON schema at: https://github.com/eurocontrol-swim/service-metadata-schema

    • It will soon be issued as v1.0.0 and listed under releases.

  • Once the change is implemented in the schema, we can update the supporting material in line with the text in the change proposal.

Ongoing tasks

• Service Categories

  • SKOS format is published on the reference website: https://reference.swim.aero/information-services/service-categories/swim-reference-categories.ttl

  • "knowledge article" is in early draft - some comments were made concerning sub-categories and use of URL/URN.

  • Discussed candidates for other service categories.

    • The ICAO Information Domains should be update to use AIRM style definitions.

    • It is not needed to mention "ICAO" in the names.

    • Once updated can be published.

• Formal Arrangements

  • Updated task and added content.

  • Review took place

  • Agreed that it can move to supporting material.

• Service Definitions

  • Discussing content

  • Examples added

  • Discuss publication afterwards. Original plan is to keep the requirements separate from those on service descriptions.

• Update Service Description Specification

  • Edits made after further comments received.

  • New structure applied

  • Formal process being followed to update the specification:

    • tidy up:

      • new template applied

      • new numbering (with a traceability matrix from old to new numbers)

      • new annex for the future update process

      • list of names to be removed in line with privacy policy

    • then wait until September to launch the formal process - this to allow the ICAO IMP to agree the Service Overview

      • option 1 - the new version along with an explanatory note (listing changes and drivers for change) to be presented to the IMT for "validation"

      • option 2 - full public consultation, etc

  • That should be enough before we publish at the end of the year/early next.

• Service Overviews

  • Update on mapping to the service description requirements and service definition content.

  • Await the final publication of PANS-IM before we make the updates live.
